Experiences early in life can have a lasting impact on later learning, behavior, and health. It is our responsibility to make those early experiences count by providing a developmentally appropriate program.  Two imperative considerations to be mindful of when developing a program are how children learn and how we should teach.  This learning session will explore how young children learn, the teacher's role in early learning, the continuum of teaching behaviors, and potential modifications and adaptations.
